Our CEO Arianna Russell is apart of the Springfield Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 class of 2015.
Here is a personal blog from her about this:
This evening is the 40 under 40 event for the class of 2015. I am blessed and honored to be apart of such a great, successful, bodacious group. Today would have been my Grandma Dora Burnett’s 91st birthday (Born in 1924) and today I am apart of a very special event with the Springfield Business Journal. I never met my grandparents, but I have in a way because my mom is always tells me about her. She tells me how hard of a worker she was. My grandma used to work at the grocery store they owned in Ozark called “Burnett Grocery” and last week my mom posted something about the grocery store and it was amazing to see how many people responded and said they remembered going in there and getting shopping. Back then things used to be done so differently. You could go into Burnett Grocery and by the time you would go thru the store my Grandma would have your lunch (sandwich, chips and drink) packed on the counter and ready just how you liked it. The reason I am posting this is because I never met my grandma, but my mom is her daughter and I have THE BEST MOM IN THE WORLD!!! I say this all the time, but each day I realize just how lucky I am to have a mom who believes in me, would do anything (as long as it’s legal) for me so that I can follow my dreams. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for all those around me who support me, but more than ANYONE because of my mom “Bo Mom”. So in honor of 40 Under 40 today, this award is for my Grandma. Happy Birthday Grandma LOVE YOU to the moon and back and I hope I can be just like you one day 😉 Momma said you were pretty special and hard working. Guess I have picked up on a BODACIOUS family trait.
