I would like to give a VERY HUGE thank you for all those who serve – I am very thankful for my freedom and the sacrifices made by our brave men and women.

Sgt. Joseph Peters

Sgt. Joseph M. Peters

As a native of Springfield, Missouri, I can’t stop thinking about Joseph, the 24-year-old soldier from Springfield, who lost his life in Afghanistan a few days ago.

I have the honor and freedom to run my business less than 30 minutes from where Joseph is from, so it really hits close to home that I get to be here doing what I’m doing, while soldiers like Joseph, so close to my age, are sacrificing their lives for our country.

Also killed in the explosion were 1st Lt. Jennifer M. Moreno, 25, of San Diego, Calif., Sgt. Patrick C. Hawkins, 25, of Carlisle, Pa., and Pfc. Cody J. Patterson, 24, of Philomath, Ore.

All of us here at Bodacious Cases would like to ask you to keep the families and people affected in this tragic loss in your thoughts and prayers. It’s important to remember that because of these brave soldiers who lost their lives, you and I have our freedom.

Things can get tough, so hard that at times, you want to give up. When that happens, remember that you are reading this right now, you are breathing, you have a computer to watch or read this on. I’d say you have a pretty bodacious life.

In honor of the four brave lives we lost in Afghanistan and to all those who serve, thank you!

God bless!
